The Mike is an archetypal representation of a musician who thinks 12 notes just isn't enough. A Mike is someone addicted to microtones even if they sound like absolute sh*t. Oh yeah, and they'll also show you the sh*t and assert their "intellectual dominance" if you don't like it.
If you engage with a Mike, be prepared for answers to questions you never asked, excessive analysis of arguments you never made, and similar to the Jazz musician, an astounding amount of pride - not only in the complexity of their music, but in the incoherence of their character.
