The Mike is a musician archetype characterized by their obsession with microtonality, overly analytical nature, and lack of awareness for how bad their music sounds. This type of person can easily be found on the Xenharmonic Alliance discord server.
If a Mike shows you a microtonal song and you don’t enjoy it, that just means you haven’t progressed far enough in your microtonal journey. If you already like the way a song sounds, just imagine how good it would be if it were microtonal?
