Minor11 of the gaps refers to the phenomenon of many j*zz and nujazz/jazztronica musicians defaulting to the use of min11 (specifically a chord with the tones 1 b3 5 b7 9 11) to fill gaps in harmonic ability (to create [[The Thing|based]] chord progressions essentially) when they don't know what to do next.
