Hypermodal family

A hypermodal family is a set of scales in paramodal relation to each other. It is used for further classification of nonsensical useless scales. Any set of hypermodes has a hypermodal formula.

Heptatonic hypermodal families are each sets of 2 modal families - the original modal family and it's paramodal family. They therefore contain 14 different scales.

The best known hypermodal family is the HRMIA (Harmonic Ioni-Aeolian hypermodal family). Other notable families include HRMPL (Harmonic Phrygi-Lydian), ZIPH (which by the way contains a scale with horrid fucking scale degrees), PELP4 (Paraemili-Laptian Internible), ARCA2 (Arcadian Alternative Second), MPI (Metaprotoiberian), NMD (Nomadic), LDM (Lemodmodian) and AZEPG (Azzurrepogian) hypermodal families.
