Fizz is Pop

"Fizz is Pop" is an aphorism and metaphorical joke in the fizz community that attempts to illustrate some key tenants of Fizzosophy that apply to describing fizz music and its position as a genre that is distinct from its predecessors (bass music and jazz).
Fizz is Pop essentially combines "Everything Matters" from the 3 Axioms triangle of the Torus with Dark Fizz's "Endless Pursuit of The Thing". This pertains to the fact that both fizz music and the best pop music share these two core values and missions, and that this makes fizz music more in line with pop music than it does with most jazz or bass music.
Fizz is Pop attempts to challenge the idea that fizz musicians only dislike certain musical ideas or songs because they are "simple" or "don't use complex crazy chords and rhythms", when the true reason for disliking a song has to do with the song lacking in a "defined" idea, commonly referred to in the fizz community as The Thing (which is widely recognized to be something that can be possessed by both simple and by complex ideas). Pop music, and particularly dance pop artists like Pink Pantheress or charliexcx, are commonly cited as very inspiring by fizz musicians. Talk to a fizz musican about what else they listen to, and you're more likely to hear about pop than jazz.
