Pan-fizziosis is the proposition that all fields and disciplines on earth have, are, or will at some point in the future undergo an equivalent of a "fizz movement", in which an underlying set of niche, high level ideas come along and show people there's a better way, which begins to form a mass cultural change in that field or creates a formidable subculture in that field.
